Has anyone been able to negotiate a discount in pricing on their purchase?
Thanks!

New or Used ?
New = No
Used = Yes
From what I’ve been told the posted price is the price
I would believe that Escape has neither the time , desire or feels any necessity to haggle .

Never heard of it being successful.

I've yet to read where any of the all-molded towable manufacturers haggle. They sell every trailer they can build.

If you feel the need to haggle, don't worry - get creative with your off-sheet option asks. I asked for a couple of things that initially got turned down. I then asked for something very similar, but different, and got pretty much what I was after in the first place. I will say that Linda F. is a very patient person, and was very responsive. However, the prices they quoted for my requests weren't up for debate either.

I have haggled over the price of anything but shotguns. New or Used. If the price seems fair. we have a deal. If not, I walk away.
The Escape trailer is a great trailer. The satisfaction of quality remains long after the fleeting satisfaction of cost is long gone.
It costs money to go racin’.

Yup, I got a free tongue box which is definitely a saving.
Oh, yes, there's one slight requirement, you have to have already previously purchased an Escape.

Repeat customers receive a front storage box option at no cost but some of the early "Reace and Tammy" freebies are no longer offered or now cost. My first E19 build had at least 6 of "N/C" line items that over the years disappeared on my subsequent Escapes. As far as haggling, every now and then Escape will offer a "Sale", for example when the E21 was introduced, the first 10-15 customers received it at the E19 cost or $1500 discount. Perhaps the new E23 model may follow in the same mode.

My feelings on cost. It’s unwise to pay too much, but it’s worse to pay too little. If you pay too much, you lose a little money - that is all. When you pay too little, you sometimes lose everything, because the thing you bought was incapable of doing the thing it was bought to do. The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot - it can’t be done. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better. John Ruskin (quote from mid 1800’s)
