On my 21C that I picked up last Dec I was moved up by 2 weeks after I signed off but then at the end I was moved out three weeks because of staffing issues and a shortage.

Escape emailed today saying they built 47 Campers in June. Based on that you would think our new que number would be 164 minus 47 = 117 Right?
We are now 107. Hmmm!
I hate math.

We were 271, are now 199, with a tentative delivery date of Dec. 22. Based upon # of trailers they are building per month we may move up a month or so. Probably a combination of price increase, inflation fears, employment issues and fear of the unknown future, with people cancelling their orders.
Turned in our build sheet Wednesday. Now it is sit and wait.

Usually when production scheduling is done and monthly production of units is the consideration, the calendar must be consulted to determine the number of actual work days in each month. That number can vary due to holidays, how the weekend days fall and the varying length of days in the month. After that vacations (work force number), component supplies, unit models being built, and dozens if not hundreds or more factors have to be plugged to production decisions, goals and predictions.
Math and logic often go out the window in real world situations

Have sent an email to Linda.
Would be interested in hearing from others who also received the email.

Just wondering, what was the remedy for this problem with the spreadsheet?

When that happens I print out the spreadsheet and work from my copy and then send the changes back, item by item.....

Linda sent another spreadsheet in a different format that worked.

Just heard from Karl. We are now #152 with 42 trailers built in July. I am projecting late Oct or early Nov (from original Dec 22).
Anyone else hear from Karl, or am I just his favorite?

My queue # was 615 on July 8 and #523 on Aug 5. With 42 built in July, it looks like 50 cancellations happened over that time and the effective queue advance rate is 92/month.

Interesting. July 8 we were 199, with 47 completed in June. Aug 8 we were 152, which makes it look like only 5 cancellations, given 42 trailers built in July. I expect the closer one gets to delivery date the less likely to cancel.

Yeah probably. Until a customer is able to lock in the price with a completed build sheet, there's a lot of uncertainty. The most recent price increase pushed us into the cancellation category. We cancelled our deposit in early July when our last known build position was #397.
I would have signed a build sheet right after placing my deposit in January, if that had been an option.

71st in July, 30th in August - entered production Aug 24. First photos Sept 1. Photos today Sept 8 with a significant amount of work done - most of the basic woodwork, fridge, most windows, sink, water and electric look to be mostly in. 17A.

In Aug we were 152, we are now 100. With 50 produced it looks like two cancelled.
At 50 produced per month it will take two months for our number to come up. Does that mean we can expect the build to start around Nov 1, with the process taking another 2-3 weeks? Possible delivery around the 3rd week in Nov?

Word of warning: I got an email from escape prior to my build starting that my build might be delayed due to labor/supply issues/yada and not to book non refundable travel. I was very bummed. Then I think two days later I got the email my build was starting. I wonder if it might be a blanket CYA email they send out to everyone to keep people from getting antsy as their build date approaches. In any case - if you get the email telling you that you’re delayed, don’t be too discouraged! My build started not long after and seems to be moving along at a good clip.

production number?
How long after deposit did you get your first number for your position of production? We received a date and no number. It has been only a couple weeks.

Bear with me as I share my understanding and experience (no pun intended).
When you first put your deposit down, you are assigned a goal completion date. Every so often, Escape reaches out to see if anyone with a distant completion date is interested in getting in a queue to have their trailer completed early in the event of cancellations and such. It’s at that point you are assigned a number.
I’m not sure how often Escape contacts buyers about their early completion program, but I don’t think it would hurt to reach out to Samuel or someone else on the sales team. My situation was different as we had placed our deposit 4 months before they came up with this system, so we got into it right at the beginning.
You might see references in past posts to completion date revisions where everyone gets pulled forward, but I am not sure if they do this anymore - the early completion queue may have replaced this method entirely.
