Jim: the moral of your story would be, sometimes horses can be jerks, eh? I agree, based on the behavior of the horse we owned when I was young. One time I was on her bareback and she walked right under the silo filler pipe. Knocked me onto my tailbone, yeowch! She ran off with me and wouldn't stop a couple of times, too (I was small for my age, too small to hold on with my legs, and she'd bounce me right out of the saddle).
