5.0 TA Anderson 3608 Hitch Block
Is anybody using the Anderson 3608 blocks under their landing gear?
I found a thread from about 3 years ago but there wasn’t much information.
If you have them, do you like them? They seem kinda pricey.

I don't know anything about Andersen Blocks. We use the Lego Style blocks under the landing gear.
If you are thinking of them for stability, we bought the "Starter Kit With Tandem Chocks" from ETI. I can't say I notice any movement in the trailer using them. I know there are other "tandem chocks" available as well. Tandem chocks go between the tires, they do not on the ground.

I looked into these. But have not purchased them. I see pros and cons.
Pros:
Easy to use, they have magnets that connect to your pads
Save your jack and battery, because they are tall, you don't extend your jacks as far.
Very stable
Cons:
Pricey
Take up a lot of storage space.
I'm just using 2 x 6 scraps

We purchased an Andersen 3608 hitch block a number of years ago for the jack on our pull-type trailers. Really like the block and it works as intended, very stable.
,
We now use it under one front leg of our 5.0 and seven legos under the other leg. I'd really like to have another, but am too cheap, and we already own the legos.
Enjoy,
Perry

Pretty much didn’t cost me anything, pieces of my old deck. Got more where they came from too. You can have all you want free (Shipping and Handling Extra)They all fit in 1 milk crate Which comes in handy as end table when empty.

Hi Cliff,
I like the looks of that black storage box behind your hitch. What brand is it?

The box is an option I got with the Fold-a-Cover, hard tonneau cover. It works great and adds a measure of security.

Nice! I doubt I have enough room in my 5.5' bed.

In almost 5 years of use, mine is in near new condition and has never had a single leak into it. It carries all my tools and a few other things too.
The only negative is I have to either use a small step to access, but found I just put one foot on the running board and the other on the tire.

As far as landing jack blocks, I just use a couple lengths of treated 6x6s about 10" long. They are kept in the rear of the box and are super handy for setup.

x2👍
I added OEM steps to mine. Easy to install and I think better quality than aftermarket.

I bought my F150 used, it came with both the side steps (behind running boards) and the tailgate step. These are two things I would never have ordered, but if I were to buy a new truck now they both would be on the order. Gotta love that tailgate step!!
