Highway's 1, 99, 7, 5 and 3 are all closed. Lower Mainland is cut off by road from rest of Canada. I hope ETI has flood insurance.

A dozen water rescues in progress East of Sedro Woolley Wa, Town of Lyman Wa evacuated. Cape Horn near Concrete under water. Some clearing in sky’s now winds still blowing.

High winds tipped over a semi truck on Deception Pass Bridge. When they righted the truck , the wind tipped it over again. You cross this bridge to get to Fort Casey.

City of Mount Vernon declared state of emergency. Flood walls installed to protect down town.
Bridge over. Skagit River at Mount Vernon closed due to large log jam trading down river towards bridge.

No problem since Fort Casey is closed. As is Fort Ebey. No power, too much wind and rain.

All of Whidbey went dark but the power is starting to come back on. Tide ran two feet over predicted.

I 5 closed both directions over night.

North bound closed at Nulle Road
South Bound closed at North Lake Samish.

Traffic is detouring around Lake Samish bumper to bumper.

If you don’t need to travel to or from Bellingham stay home .

Slides closing I 5.

As of 5 am today. The Skagit river has crested at 35 .5 feet.
West Mount Vernon and fir Island evacuated along with several towns along Hwy 20.
I 5 remains closed due to slides near Lake Samish.

Many low land rural roads under water.

Our son and family evacuated last night and took over our upstairs.

All safe.

Stay dry.

I just received this reply from Linda at ETI. I had asked about conditions at the factory:

"Thank you so much for your concern!
Our facility is currently not in any danger, thank goodness but, there is so much devastation in other areas of the lower mainland and other areas of BC.
All of the highways in and out of Chilliwack are currently closed due to flooding or landslides.
Hopefully we won’t get any more rain and these waters will subside."

This wreck on bridge resulted in only minor injuries. WOW

Be careful out there.

Thanks for being the eyes on the ground. We lived in the Seattle area for years and have friends in La Conner and north. Sounds pretty awful so hope you are staying safe and somewhat dry.
Here in CO we are doing drought and wildfires.
