Making the escape decision
Well, after getting some hands on time at the Bluebonnet rally, looking in a number of Escape's at the rally, and meeting Tammy and Reace.... we made the leap and ordered a 21. Delivery time is way out but we felt good about it all after meeting "the crew" at the rally. In the mean time, we will hold on to our Casita and keep camping.

They are saying their calendar is not available apparently.

The statements in color are a mis-print and should say 2015. Further down they say this: Please note our 2016 Production Schedule will be available June 2015.
So, starting this June, the 2016 calendar will be available to fill, and I bet it will be at least half full by mid-June.

Last week, I was contacted by a couple that wanted to inspect Ten Forward as a possible brand/size of trailer for themselves. I checked the schedule and told them they wouldn't get a build until 2016. I think that scared them off. Probably went to the darkside. We may hear from them again in a few years. Some things are worth waiting for (I waited seven years.)

Quite a few people have moved up several months which we were also offered and declined. You never know if you might get an Escape earlier than your original build date.

Yup, we went from 4 months to have our build sheet done to TWO WEEKS! Period of great frenzy.

I really believe it was a Tammy move-up in schedule as she knew our 21 was a retirement present for wifey - got it 2 weeks before she officially retired.

How neat is THAT!
I bought Ten Forward three years before I'm due to retire and thought I was doing well...

We ordered in December and got a September slot, and that got improved to May by our asking for an earlier date.

Okay, I watch this forum I will admit I get jealous. I have been thinking how much can loan be on 40 k trailer. I am worried about the exchange rate and finding lender. Its just time to quit worrying and enjoy life. So, Monday I will begin the saga of looking for a lender. Hopefully, it will be a smooth journey Sure would enjoy going to a rally where people have the same interest. If anyone cares to give advise on a lender I would appreciate it.

We went through Costco who uses Essex Credit. Lowest rate we could find. As for a "40 k trailer" that would be about the most expensive Escape you could get, with most every option. We loaded up our 19 with about 10k in options and it was 35k CAD.
The USD equivalent was about 28,300.

Our loaded 21 came in around $31K US dollars last fall. Cheaper now!

Kevin, there have been few comments over the years on what lenders have been used. You might want to start a thread on that and see if you can get people to tell you their lender experiences.
Yes, you can go to $40,000 CAD which at the moment will have a great savings with the exchange rate, but has lost a little in recent weeks, for Americans. Don't know if you can include in a loan what you buy to send them such as flooring, fabric, and many other items that are often supplied by the owners.
