My $38,000$US new Escape

Tentative build sheets now add up to $38,256 for base plus options for 2022 E19 model. Very easy to hit the $40K with some more options.......nothing fancy here though.

Jim, I’m curious and nosy and I hope I’m not rude. Why are you getting a new Escape the same size as your last one which wasn’t very old? Just the fun of a new one again? Different style choices? I’m interested in what you’ve learned along the way, and always enjoy your posts very much. Reason I’m so nosy is because we are current Escape owners with a new Escape on order too.

Jim hates to refill the propane tanks so he gets a new Escape with full tanks once the current trailer's propane gets low.

The forum has had fun with this rumor for years - Jim seems to get a new trailer on almost an annual basis.

And it's Jim who started the rumour, as I recall.

I'm pretty sure he's downsizing from a 21 to a 19, actually. Notice his previous trailer size listed below his avatar.

Yes he's had 19, 21, 19, 21, now another 19.

That’s even more intriguing since we love our small 17, want “more”, we like the 21C and still wonder if the 19 would be the right one...

Jim, please, what do you prefer about a 19 over a 21?

We are going to our local rally in September but if we get lucky with the changing build dates that might not be soon enough. And have already looked at both with our kind ambassadors. We like both, prefer the 21C layout (kitchen, bathroom, north-south bed) but would rather not upsize our tow vehicle.

Haha when the years and the model numbers are so alike... 2019 21, 2021 19 etc
