Power Jack

Not sure if I should add the power jack to the build sheet. Thoughts anyone?

Would never be without a power tongue jack now after having one on my previous trailers. If you are going to have a wdh hitch you will definitely regret not getting the power tongue jack.

Do you plan to tow your 19 with your X-Terra? Also, does that include the use of a weight distribution hitch of some kind? If so, you'll find hooking up and unhooking quicker and easier with a power jack. We didn't get one when we had the trailer built, mainly because I wasn't convinced of it's benefit. And, since the batteries are up front on the 19, I knew that installing one after market would be a snap. I did install one later, and I'm glad I did.

Yes we are going to tow with the X-Terra with a WDH. I like quicker and easier. Guess I'll add this as an option...

Yup, agree with Robert (who showed me his power jack at the 2015 Osoyoos rally and convinced me in short order): if you use WDH, get the power jack. With all the energy, aches and pains you save, you can run an extra marathon or two.

Did not get one on our 21. But have regretted it after helping out a couple that was having a problem with their hitch and had one on their jayco. Man was it nice. I will be adding and after market one.

Well then, have them remove them and just crank by hand. We wouldn't want those guns to get soft.

I do worry about that, but will find exercise elsewise.

We did not get the jack. We were sure we wouldn't mind cranking. We added a jack this fall[emoji57]
