Depends on how slippery the bottom and floor are. It doesn't take much of a stop - in the sliding drawers I sell there is a 3/16th inch tall stop piece about 6 inches long across where the front of the drawer sits. You have to lift the drawer up to get over it for pulling out, but no big deal.............

I bought the IKEA Lonset bed slats yesterday to put underneath our Escape mattress. That is the “medium” priced bed slat, they also have a lower and higher priced option. Lonset is getting phased out and they no longer have it on their USA website, but in the store I found a stack of them in the clearance section. Was very happy to find it. Thanks to everyone who has recommended it.

You are very kind; thanks. :-) And also to the others who responded with positive comments... and yes, I bought Dover White, not Dove White. Still have the old (empty) cans I used. Not sure why...
I think I'll try a Krylon white to see how close that is. Cheap experiment. If that fails, I'll see if I can get a Pantone number for the gelcoat from Escape. ;-)

For whatever reason I'll never know, the Torflex axle collapsed and locked up with zero suspension (1-year out of warranty too). I decided to remove it and install a leaf spring & shock absorber system instead.

A good friend, who has a LandCruiser specialty shop in Redding, CA oversaw cutting away the brackets from the former suspension/axle, welding in frame extensions along with the leaf spring brackets. We chose 42" long OME LandCruiser 60-Series front springs.

I still need to weld brackets onto the axle & frame for the shocks but even without them the 250-mile drive back to our home in Carson City, Nevada from Redding was smooth and controlled; quite the opposite we experienced with the Torflex.

Todays mods

We returned home from our last camping trip of the year. A beautiful lakeside campsite for 6 nights on Lower Kananaskis Lake. Trailer is winterized. Added a 200 watt pure sine wave inverter on a seperate outlet with 2 additional usb ports and added a shutoff valve for the toilet. We are using the toilet much more this year than in past years due to Covid 19. Next spring, new tires (about 45 or 50000 kms on these ones).

My son changed out the nasty key locks on my two side ports to the ones that have the slot kind of key. So much nicer.

Bought a Dometic 311 low profile porcelain toilet to replace the OEM Thetford plastic one. Owned this 21 for 7 years and wifey has never pooped in it because it's too hard to clean the plastic..........

Happy wife, happy life!

I place a layer of TP in the bottom of the bowl. Works. Mostly.

Removed propane platform

So my very new to me 2017 E19 got treated to a little preventative maintenance today. I read complaints about the platform for the propane tanks rusting where they are screwed to the frame and after removing mine, I think everyone should check theirs. As I understand it they used to be welded on so it is not an issue for everyone. I cleaned the rust up on the frame and the mount and painted with some kind of rubbery rust converter product in a can. Hopefully this will help stop what looked like could become a future disaster.

Replaced the plastic Dometic toilet in our 21 with a porcelain bowl Dometic 311 (low profile.) Super flusher! PEX fittings were easier to fit up with Flair compression fittings after warming a bit with a heat gun. Maybe 20 minutes to change it out. Slow close wood lids and bigger bowl.

Happy wife, happy life.

ah, I found if I ran the water into the bowl before extrusions, much less was left behind. worse case, I'd fill the bowl to the inner rim afterwards, close the lid, leave the window cracked, and a few hours later flush, and whooosh, it was clean again.

I see Thetford has a ceramic ones now too, the AquaMagic Style II and Style Plus. I dislike Dometic (although I can't say I've ever seen one of their toilets).

i just asked Escape what color gelcoat they were using in 2014, and was told, that it was a custom mix, and they no longer use the same mix and don't have any left.
