I am putting this on here to help anyone who needs a visual to see the difference in panel sizes.
The Renolgy 100w I bought to make our own "suitcase ".
The Rich Solar 200w is the Hub replacement from our hail storm.
And the Renolgy 320w is the current project.

I’m watching this progress. I’m considering removing my single 190 from my E19 and moving it to my observatory, and replacing it with something around 400 watts. My only concern is the air pressure on the part of the panel that would extend beyond the back of the trailer a few inches.

I should have the panels on the roof tomorrow.
I will post picks of that progress.
In the meantime time here are a couple of Pics on the bench.

I know there is more than just me interested in your installation. Please take as many images as you feel will help us make sense of the project. Thanks.

Great picture. FYI the new Rich Solar 250W panel is only a little bit bigger than the 200W panel. I thought I was going big planning a system around 200-250W panels and here you are mounting a 320!

Well, they are on the roof in place but not bolted down yet.
I need to terminate the solar wires, align the braces on the cantilevered ends and bolt them to the original brackets.
PICs attached.

Thanks for this! Even though this is on a 5.0 this gives me a relative idea of what the 200W or 250W Rich Solar panels will look like on the 19 which is 4" narrower in exterior width.

No problem.
If I had known the 320s would have fit I would have skipped the 200w Rich Solars.
Don't get me wrong, they are great panels, just would have been nice to save that money and all the work installing them.

Ron: Just curious what you plan to do with your 200W Rich Solar panels? Any chance you would consider shipping them to NJ?!

The company is Renogy, not Renology. Yes, I taught grammar.
Food for thought,
Perry

To all who I have offended, I stand corrected.
Please understand that in my fatigue and haste anywhere in my posts that I incorrectly typed Renology, it should have been Renogy.
Going forward I will endeavor to not make any more mistakes.
Thank you for your patience with my ignorance.

I certainly was not offended.
You’re not the first to use Renology instead of Renogy and won’t be the last.
Enjoy,
Perry

Sorry Perry, had a long day, in the cold, my knee jerked, and put my foot in my mouth...
I really do endeavor to be articulate and succinct.
Appreciate your correction, others not familiar with the brand could be confused.
Travel on!

I appreciate you posting the pictures; very helpful! It appears that you've got 2 brackets on the driver's & passenger side of each panel structure (& no brackets on the front or rear) that mount to the roof of the trailer; is that correct? Thanks,
Jim

We had a big hail storm 1 1/2 years ago, the stones were near golf ball size. My Lensun semi-flexible panels and the trailer fairly well. My brothers solar panel
Escape installed in 2016 was fine too. All the other things you mentioned we lost, along with my A/C shroud (though my brother's faired fine) and the case for the awning got dints in it; My awning was out a bit and got one hole in it, though the fabric reinforcing held it good the vinyl fabric wore a bit. Insurance paid for a new unit installed though I have yet to do it as it works fine. Insurance won't cover it until I do. I fixed the fabric blemish with a tough clear rubber tape.

Hi Jim,
The two brackets on each side of both panels (eight total) are the original 2" x 4" x 1/4" aluminum angle 2" wide that Escape installed for the 200w Hub Lion panels.
That's why my spacing lok off, did not want to make more holes.
The aluminum frames I made are overkill, the long rails going side to side are 2" x 3/16".
The short rails are 2" x 1/8".
I have two 4" long 2" x 1/8" brackets made for the front of both which will be attached to the roof with 3M VHB.
Ron
