I did a mod yesterday for my frameless windows by adding a "dead bolt" to stop the knob from working its way loose and posted in a new thread here. Hope some fellow escapees find it useful.

Manufacturers may not ever resolve little problems like this, but you can always count on Escape owners to come up with good fixes!
