Hi all. We are looking at a modification for the fridge when we plan our 17B. Has anyone got the larger fridge (with the separate freezer) and omitted the microwave? Does it fit and is this even an option when building? Thanks.
Hello. I. Not sure if you are coming from another camper or fridge, but we went with the standard fridge in our 17a and never found we need anything bigger. It takes quite a bit of food n the freezer works well. We also did not want to loose aisle space with the larger version available. For reference, we carry 5 or more days of food and perishables plus some beverages, but we also typically run a beer cooler for the first few days with ice from home. I make my own blocks.

We made numerous trips to Arizona with the 17 B and 3 cubic fridge.O course we also brought a good size cooler for drinks and as a backup.There was grocery stores were we went.On a ten day huntingtrip straight into the bush we will bring three ice chest but do not travel with an Escapetrailer.We bring food back home.Our three cubic never let us down.But to each their own.Check George Carlins stand up performance and get a second thougth before you spend money on something you migth not really need.Just my humble opinion, we are all differentTake care
