I was thinking of running the wire out fridge vent cap. I still have to investigate this farther. My other thought was the mount sticks out from trailer a little farther than I like.If ti was to catch it on a tree or something. Maybe the tape seal would break preventing damage to the trailer. I just trying to Research all my options.

No interior plate - I used fender washers under the stainless steel bolts & nuts.
