What the?
Anyone else have something like this? Didn’t notice on,pickup in July or the 3 week trip home so it’s not too serious.

I'd have them send you a new cabinet door and handle. That would bug me once I noticed it.

I’m building a drawer and will probably just make my own drawer front. Sort of strange that whoever installed it didn’t notice.

Having hung a few cabinets in my life, I have always made a jig to drill consistent hole locations. Guess they don't do that at ETI because they would have caught that right away.

I believe that ETI purchases cabinet doors etc. from a third party. They're not made in house.
Two parties dropped the ball. One, the manufacturer who switched handle types on a stock product. That was careless.
Two, yes the installer should have noticed it. Hard to believe he didn't.

I just checked my drawer openings. They’re all pretty clean cut.

You seem pretty adept at using Baltic birch plywood. Here is an idea using 6mm (5.6mm) Baltic birch for your drawer. HDPE sliders on the bottom. Drawers bottom out against the back of the trailer. Metal strip across the vinyl flooring joint is removed so drawers can slide easily on level floor. Widths what ever you want, height what ever you want. Mine are different widths. Retainer is in place when traveling. I put 1 hand hold on each side but if doing it again would consider placing 3 on each side. CA was used for gluing the HDPE to the bottom of the drawers before varnishing the wood. The wood glue is what I used plus I did pin the joints during assembly instead of using clamps. The drawers are holding up well going on 3 years and are easy to slide in and out.
Note: The combined width of the drawers is a little wider than the opening they slide through. Only one drawer at a time can be pulled out.

Nice work. I plan on 30 inch depth so I can still store long stuff from the outside behind the drawer. I bought a couple of heavy duty drawer slides. I’ll lose some width but access will be quick and easy if I go with a drawer front rather than doors.
I’m still working on my Lithium/ solar upgrade. Not much space it work with under the seat in the 19! Hope to get to the drawer next week.

Dave, that is nice work. What are you using to lock it in place for when someone forces a panic stop?

The drawer slides have a bit of a lock. If it opens, I’ll just put one of the door latches on it. They just friction lock.
