Window Gutters

Our Escape came with window gutters to guide the water away from the windows preventing leaks and stopping window streaks. I know they started installing these gutters some time in 2017-18 and some owners retrofitted them above their windows. I can't find the thread that lists the vendor for the gutters. Does anyone have a link to the vendor?

E-Trailer has a number of options. Just wondering which ones to use.

Thanks,

Perry

Surprised it came that way. My ‘21 E19 does not have gutters.

Our 2017 19 did not come with gutter guards. However, I did install some 3M aftermarket white ones that I think look great.

Every RV I've owned, except the Escape, has had clear caulking along the top edge of windows and down each side 3 or 4 inches. With Escape it appears the only protection against water infiltration around the windows is the window gasket.
Is caulking the top edge and/or adding a gutter system something that most people do for extra protection?

Lonewolf, can you point to a specific product?

Maybe when they leak. Mine have been in and out and are fine, but fairly new.

Not me, with either trailer and no leaks.

Our Bigfoot has sliding windows. The do NOT leak, but rain comming off the roof will cause streaks on the windows. I just want to divert most of that water to the sides. The front and rear huge picture windows that don't open streak the most.

Enjoy,

Perry

The material I used was The Original EZE RV WINDSHIELD GUTTER. The web site is rvgutters.com. They use 3M tape and the colors are Ultra white, Off white and Black. The ultra white is pretty close to the gelcoat white of the trailer. I bought two 10" rolls and did all the windows and over door window on our 19 and have enough left to do a few more windows if one fails. I had them on for 2 years now and they are all good.

I never had any leaks on my frameless windows but heard from other people who had so I decided to put some on our trailer just in case down the road it happened and actually like them now that there on.

Company seems to be only "Jobs" now?

I ordered here. I'm getting black because doesn't break down with UV rays, like white. As trying to get the old tape off to redo? https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...DS2UX8STH&th=1

Our '22 -19 came with a sort of rubber 'gutter' above the frameless windows. Keeps the water from coming in the top. Maybe not used enough yet to really have had any problems or any severe weather.
