2017 5.0 Frameless Window Gasket Shrinking

We were just cleaning the screens and windows of our 5.0 when we discovered the gasket material in the upper corners of some our windows was separating from their frames. Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem with their trailer. We have discovered this is the result of shrinking of the rubber and that we should have been using 303 protectant on the rubber to prevent this from happening. I have contacted Escape, as we live in B.C. and they suggested taking some of the gasket material to a hardware store and replace it. Not sure if anyone else has had to replace these before and what you might have used or if they were able to reattach the gasket material without replacing the entire gaskets? Any help would be greatly appreciated. We have owned the trailer for 3 years and suspect it may be the result of the heat dome that hit our area last summer as well of lack of maintenance from us and the previous owner.
