21C Sink Faucet Recommendation

Hi - Unfortunately I forgot to do a proper winterizing on our 21C last winter and the faucet was damaged and needed to be replaced. I replaced it with a cheap one in the hope it would be good enough, but this one occasionally leaks a bit when it is on, so it has to go.

This is the crappy one I have now: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I'm not a big fan of fancy faucets, especially for a trailer, but my generic choice was clearly not the best, so any replacement recommendations would be appreciated.

Thanks!

shut your water supply off, bleed any water pressure, take the valve cartridge out of the faucet, wipe it clean and the inside of the cavity the cartridge goes in, and apply a decent amount of silicone plumbers grease to the o-rings and washers or whatever, then reassemble.

I’ve seen this one mentioned in other threads. Might be a good middle ground between what you have now and a Moen or Kohler.

I don't want a single handle valve in the trailer, I want separate cold and hot knobs so I know what I'm getting.

These appear to be an exact fit cartridge replacement for what I have, so I ordered them...

I don't like the separate knobs but having said that my two biggest water disasters in an RV were caused by single lever faucets.

The first was on a Cruise America delivery. Probably the only time I was ever underway without turning off the water system. At the end of the day I was shocked to see that the water tank was empty. The faucet lever had bounced or vibrated open and allowed the water to flow.

The second was on my current E21. Stopped and saw water on the counter. The faucet had rotated sideways and leaked enough water to flood the stove. A disadvantage of the recessed stove top.

Karl kindly gave me a current design single lever and it's been absolutely fine.

When the plastic factory sink faucet began to fail my friend Dave gave me this metal replacement. Think he got it at Home Depot. Separate H and C handles works fine for me.
