Hitch clips for WDH

I really really really dislike the hitch clips supplied with my WDH. Hard to pull out and harder to put in. Arthritis doesn’t help. I know I could add some kind of pull tab but it won’t help with putting them in. Any suggestions welcome. Thanks

We replaced the E2 pins with these. They work great- easy on the hands.

Are you raising your trailer as high as possible. If so, can you install your bars on the brackets easily? We couldn't and sold our 18" electric jack and bought a 24" electric jack. We no longer have problems with removing/installing our bars, including the 90° L pins.

If you're having problems installing the cotter pin into the L pin, just go to any hardware store and buy a smaller diameter cotter pin, but the same length.

Food for thought,

PErry

I thought about those lock clips but the shaft diameter is too large for the WDH components

You didn't mention which WD hitch you have, but if you have the Fastway E2, the Equal-i-zer pins are interchangable. I was having issues with my bars binding and causing the brackets to shift, and the Equal-i-zer L-pins were recommended to me by Fastway customer service. Equal-i-zer and Fastway are manufactured by the same company.
