First week out it didn't seem like it was charging on solar, now it's not charging on shore power either.
What do you think I should be looking for besides a loose wire somewhere?
i'd be poking around with a volt meter. check the outputs of the power converter at the fuse panel battery terminals, the output of the solar controller... check the battery disable switch.
Yup, so many of these situations could be solved in minutes by doing that.
Sometimes I think that if I had to choose between carrying a volt meter and a spare tire I'd choose the volt meter. Despite a lot of trailer travels over a lot of years I've never had a flat but I've sure used my volt meter a lot.
All it seemed that it was, the victron shunt takes forever to download the updated message to my phone.
make sure your victron shunt and any solar controllers or whatever, all have the latest firmware. the Victron Connect phone app should be able to upgrade them. the upgrade can take awhile, especially if your internet access is slow.
