Socket size 21NE stabilizers

After three trips to where 21NE is stored, and failing to measure the “nut” size on the stabilizers, so that we can buy a socket for a power driver, I have to ask if anyone has that info handy to share with me ?
Thanks much!

The BAL stabilizers on my 21 (not NE), I've been using a 3/4" 6-point deep socket on , driven by a 3/8" driver bit.

but, 19mm is 0.748" so probably same difference. I definitely recommend a 6 point, 12 points can strip.

FROM BAL: WARNING: Do not use a cordless drill or cordless impact to operate the product unless the drill has an adjustable chuck. If the product was supplied with a manual handle or ratchet, please use that to operate the product. This allows you to feel the resistance during operation. A cordless drill or impact will cause damage to the product unless the adjustable chuck is set appropriately. NEVER use a cordless impact on an electric motor with a manual override

I saw a Newbie recently leveling his new 21 with the BAL C-Jacks using a big-ass Impact wrench. That's not what they're designed for folks. You will strip out the threads pretty quick doing it.

I use my cordless to bring the jacks down then tighten with the hand crank that came with the trailer. Reverse when raising them back. Better on the wrists too.

I've been using my drill-driver (NOT an impact wrench) for years on my stabilizer jacks I set its clutch to about 10 or 12, and use it in the lower speed range. The drill-driver is a Ryobi P271, with a 18V lithium pack. I do lube the lead screws a couple times a year with a shot of white lithium spray grease.

The wheel lug nut size is a 1/2” drive 13/16” 6-point deep socket (for the torque wrench). I believe the water heater anode socket size is 1 1/16”.

Edit: Just confirmed the 1 1/16” socket size for the anode by referring back to Reace’s water heater tutorial video.

Thank-you! I am slowly assembling a tool kit for the trailer...and want to make sure that all critical socket sizes are included.

An out of control impact wrench is probably the kiss of death for these stabilizers.

I use a drill with a clutch, but I stopped using the hand crank as I became more comfortable using the drill motor to do the gross travel and then simply twist the drill body in order to snug up the foot onto a pad. Have not used the handle for several trips.

If your collection of sockets includes 27mm, that will work nicely for the anode.

If you have the alloy wheels with the 20 holes in them, that is the same or similar to what my BF had. You need a very thin walled 13/16 socket to fit in the recess in the rim or you will be gripping only a tiny bit of the top of the lugnuts. I changed my hub/drum assemblies to 6 lug and replaced the wheels with new Sendel wheels, and new lugnuts with much more surface area. See the attached pics to give you an idea of what I am referring to. (these are the solid steel/chrome lugnuts, not the cheap ones with the stainless sleeves pressed over them)

The same wheels are available in 5 lug. My original 20 hole wheels had bad clear coat and this was a good time to go to 6 lug.

Stabilizer socket, best to buy the version that has 1/4 hex with the groove for a quick release chuck, that way it fits either a drill or the small impacts.
Camco Chem 57364 Scissor Jack Socket 3/4"

But if you only want one that chucks in a drill, Camco RV Leveling Scissor Jack Socket Drill Adapter, Fits 3/8" and 1/2" Power Drills, Works with All 3/4" Hex Drive Jacks (57363)
