Unbelievable Customer Service
Right now we're sitting outside our new 21 at the Lynden KOA enjoying a fine evening. We had an 8:00 AM orientation when we picked up the trailer yesterday and toward the end of it Reace appeared, introduced himself, and told us that they needed to keep the trailer for an additional hour to replace the problem water line.
After we talked about it a bit he offered that he was hitting the road today to make the same repair on the other 21s that were manufactured before the problem was discovered. To say that I was stunned that he was personally planning to do this on each affected trailer is putting it mildly. It was nice to be able to experience first hand the latest example of the dedication to customer service that Escape is famous for.

He'll be easy to spot, he will be the one driving like mad, wearing a very girly sun hat.

Did they need the hour to do the repair, or just finish it? If only an hour, it seems like he has the repair down pat now.

Wow. I am amazed by this whole entire thread (especially the girly sun hat pic). Kudos to Reace for doing whatever he can to make this right. So sorry for the defect's existence in the first place, and glad that Laura's situation wasn't worse, as she said. I can only imagine how difficult this is for everyone concerned, and am totally impressed with Reace's upcoming road trip. Totally!

FYI, in a recent e-mail from Tammy, she asked if we can meet Rease in Valdosta, GA (about a 4 hour drive from our home in Alabama) in two weeks (more specifics to follow). We can do that, but if his route takes him from Texas to Florida, we're hoping we can catch up with him a little closer to home as he passes through the gulf coast area, if possible.

I hope that he is not taking a Gulf Coast route. That will be too hot. But he has to go where he has to go.

wow this is going to be one long road trip..and it ain't no vacation unfortunately....being that Reace IS ETI..the trip will perhaps provide an alternate meaning to the term "Factory Tour"
hoping for a safe journey... as he will probably be itching to get back to the factory asap and the USA is on the road and on vacation at this time of year!

Road Trip
If you were at this years appreciation rally you had the opportunity to hear the great story from Reace himself detailing the beginnings and progress of this fine company. I very much enjoyed it. And I wondered what he could do to top it. Now I know .Tales of the pesky PEX or how I spent my summer vacation by Reace. We will be looking forward to it. You da man.

FWIW, our 21's completion date was 2/7/17, and the problematic clear line begins under our bed at the elbow for hot water and the "T" for cold where water diverts to the bath. You can see the end of the clear line attached to the elbow just before going through the wall and can get a glimpse of the cold line coming off the "T". Didn't realize how much sawdust ETI left under the bed from construction! Time to get the shop vac.

I am betting that the sawdust appeared after pick-up and is due to the earthquake nature of a traveling trailer. My trailer was spic and span at pick-up but I continued to vacuum sawdust even after the first several trips.
