My bad! I knew that, Jim. I was just in too much of a hurry (our dogs were demanding their breakfast) to fully engage my brain! So my fingers just took over, free from any brain filtering. I hate when that happens....

Red Dog here! We are visiting Prince Edward Island (PEI), CA, and before we visit Nova Scotia to finish our cross country tour of Canada, we will take the scenic route from PEI to Nova Scotia so we can meet Reace in Frewsburg, NY around June 28th.

What's a 4023 km (2500 mi) round-trip detour when you are among friends?

I must say I will miss that "CRY OF THE BANSHEE" sound every time Dora takes a cold shower. Just saying...

Related to that suggestion, over on FiberglassRV.com, there is a "Sticky Thread" in "General Chat" entitled "Elegance of Behavior" (regarding forum posting etiquette). Started in March 2008, only 56 total posts in the past 9 years, last one was in August 2013. But I assume there have been many more views over that time. Worth the time to view. But I digress....

A good read, and reminder to us all (myself included).

All the moderators = two of us. cpaharley2008 (Jim) and myself.

We don't close threads due to topic drift. If that was the case, we'd be closing 95% of the threads after the 3rd or 4th post.

Thank you Fred for proving my point. Thread drift can be fun! Tell Dora she's been officially initiated, and promoted to senior camper. [emoji1]

I am so glad all of you with your opinions can now pat yourself 's on the back . Too bad you don't know the back story ,about the whole split hose situation . You are giving accolades to the wrong person or person's . Those affected owe Laura a big thanks for bringing this out and it getting attention . Pat

Pat, I think that's unnecessary. See my comments in post 227. Like most here I'm grateful that Laura started the thread about an important issue with the new 21, and said so.

Is there more to the story than what Laura told us in her original post on June 6th that started this thread or what Tom (tdf-texas) said in Post #83 (http://www.escapeforum.org/forums/f9...l#post201079)? with his water line problem in late May. Regardless, knowing that Rease has already covered nearly half of the Lower 48, in just two weeks since Laura's original post, to fix this problem is comforting to me as a new Escape owner.

No idea what you are talking about, or why you are trying to provoke a fight, or who with.

Everybody just be nice. I know the days started getting shorter starting today, but that's no excuse for having a short temper. Got it?

Just curious - are Laura and Tom the only two who actually had their hot water shower lines rupture on them before the call went out from ETI to stop using hot water in the shower until fixed? If so, that seems pretty amazing that the damage was so limited.

I don't think we know. There may have been other owners who don't participate on this forum who encountered the problem.
