I bet when there was a problem, some months back with Customs... it was Tammy in there doing all the negotiating
|
My take from all that I heard of that customs discussion: Tammy was very, very persistent, and right; and the supervision at customs had to step up to the plate and come up with a solution, because Tammy was there a lot.

We live in Virginia and just got back from a meet-up with Reace. We met at a nice park close to Richmond but only an hour from our home. Reace got to the park around lunch and we shared cold cut sandwiches and chips and then presented him with Virginia Beer, Nuts and Coffee cup to take with him. He did the water tube job plus more like others have said. About two hours later another 21 owner pulled in beside us. After thanking Reace and saying hi to the Maryland 21 owner we were off. It was a perfect experience.

Good report John! and thanks for taking care of Reace!
Following his progress, distance covered, trailers fixed, and satisfied owners is a gratifying experience. His good-will will not be forgotten!
Cheers

What an excellent report and experience. I'm sure Reace appreciated your hospitality and positive attitude. It was good that he could refit another Escape in the same location. Who needs a tracking device with the updates we've been getting right along? Thanks

Hi: Greg A... It's not a pickup. It's a panel truck. Alf

Oh crap. You'd think I would have noticed it wasn't a pickup but a PANEL. This is mine! Only it's a 1953 F-100 panel.
Lots of differences between the F-1 and an F-100
Boy, did this thread go off the rails SORRY!

Yep - headed towards us in Wisconsin. Tammy said he will try to get here Friday or Saturday. I've got a 12 pack of Summer Shanty awaiting him and hopefully he will have time for Mary's homemade pizza with famous Graziano Brother's Italian Sausage from her family's Italian grocery store in Des Moines.

He probably gained 10 pounds on this trip with all this good food and booze we Yankees have been feeding him. Hopefully he will make it home safely by the holiday 7/1 Happy Canada Day.

He left Frewsburg, NY today after working on our trailer, as well as Peter and Nancy Styer's trailer. He seemed very relaxed as he left for his next assignment. Thank to Tammy and Reace for great customer service.!
