I too went through customs with a sink, faucet AND upholstery fabric for my build. Told them it was for my new Escape trailer being built. They didn't bat an eye. Then when going to pickup, I had five large totes of stuff, told them again it was camping gear for my new Escape trailer. They didn't seem to care. Just asked about guns and food.
I can't be certain, but I think if you mention "Escape trailer and Chilliwack," most will know what you're talking about as they've heard it often enough!
