We just came back from a week at over 9000' and no issues at all with fridge, etc. Check whether you have the regulator with the lil front facing flag window with the red and green flag wheel...

Yep similar to the one that didn't work on our way home from pick up. Reace sent a replacement that was a different brand, I believe it is a Marshall and has worked great since.
