I have always taken Highway 3 from North Van to Osoyoos. To get to 97C you have to take the long way around, and can't avoid hills and corners anyway. Just take it easy.

I asked for specific sites ( gave them about 20 sites I'd like ) and they were all already assigned to rally attendees. So, they put me in C82. Site number is on my confirmation email.

True. But it's all plainly spelled out. You have to book for two weeks in order to secure a specific site. I expect that to guarantee a site for a day or two would really mess things up for them.
