Looks like a great place. What was the weather like? Love the Atlantic Sunrise photo.

Weather was upper 50s at night & mid to upper 70s during the day. Stayed 5 nights and did not have any rain. They have electricity/water at every RV site and hot showers, too. The jungle portion of "Forrest Gump" was filmed at Hunting Island SP.
Will probably go camping there for a week during December, January, and February, too. We camp in South Carolina when it's cold and the North Carolina mountains/foothills when it's hot in the lower elevations.
Thanks,

It was the first Trunk or Treat they had at this State Park and a great success!
Thanks!

We just started camping there during 2012 and really like the interesting beaches with great places to ride bicycles.
Thanks,
They also have a Lighthouse:

I've spent a few New Year's holidays camped there in my tent. When the weather is good, it's a great place to spend the holiday. Looking forward to camping there in our 19' and not having to worry about the temperatures!

Hopefully we will see you there sometime soon!
After consideration, my Wife & I believe the 19' Escape would fill our needs the best. Hope we could see yours in the future to help make up our minds before ordering one. We live close to Denver NC
Thanks,

Two more 19' owners! Good for you. The east coast must be filling up with them.
That park looks like a must-see.

May need to have an east-coast spring or fall Escape gathering at Hunting Island SC, if there is not already one on the east-coast. Hope to order the Escape 19' during the first quarter of 2014.
Thanks,

Bill,
You will need to contact Escape and get yourself in line, the next available 19' model slot is Sept 2114 but there is one slot for a 21' in March 2014, otherwise July 2014 for another 21' model

Just don't go to Hunting Island when it's warm. The mosquitoes almost carried us off last May. You could not even sit outside with several insect candles going. Nice place but the bugs were the worst we have ever experienced.

Good to hear "Escape" campers are in high demand, I'm sure for a good reason, too. Got an info package from Reace & Tammy for the new 5.0. The more Debbie & I discussed the camper size, we feel the 19' Escape will fit our needs. Will give them a call Monday.
Thanks,

We still used plenty of OFF to keep the mosquitoes away last week. Good point! The mosquitoes were not too bad on the beach & ocean front camp site with the ocean breeze blowing.
Thanks,

I still don't think I'd wait 100 years no matter how good it is.
