We registered in TX. Unfortunately there are no straight answers. Just have as much documentation as you can possibly get: Bill of sale, customs and inspections forms, origination certificate, etc....

Importing and registering a USED trailer gets even more complicated. Digits have been known to disappear from the bill of sale for such convoluted, expensive registration procedures.
