That small fan may be all you needed, too much air movement is not desirable either. I know with the RMD and fan on inside and outside I had -0- problems sitting still and with the furnace filter...

There is a stock factory installed fan on the rear of the RMD 8555 and not to be confused with the optional "Texas" fan option Escape may install during initial installation.

Are you referring to the RMD 8555 with the fan from the factory not coming on due to the wrong thermocouple temperature and myself and others shorted out the thermocouple via a shunt and manually...
