Hi Pat- it is stamped on it. Also search Ram coupler; etrailer has an image that shows it. It has a distinct slender yoke latch. The Atwood latch is much wider.

Ross couldn’t find Ram on it and it is wide , the latch . So I guess we got a Attwood ?

On etrailer they call it Pro Series, however it looks just like yours. Escape never used an Atwood to my knowledge. The lever on the Atwood is shorter and tapers out. The RAM or Pro Series coupler's latch being longer and more slender makes it easier I would think to bend it and that is something Escape always said was a potential user fault and not covered under warranty.

The eTrailer-branded CA-5210-B is certainly a Ram - it says so right in the description, at the end. It may not be exactly the same as the Ram used by Escape.
The Pro Series brand would not likely appear on a Ram, as Pro Series is a Cequent brand, like Reese, Draw-Tite, Hidden Hitch, Bulldog and Tekonsha.
The levers on these two couplers - the only yoke-type couplers offered by eTrailer - are just different enough that I would guess that they are not from the same manufacturer.

Both of these latch levers look like they could bend easily, but especially the eTrailer/Ram with it's hole in the top. If enough force is used to bend even these levers, the coupler is jammed and real problem should be fixed rather than forcing the lever that much.

Here is an Atwood coupler. Note the latch is shorter and flares outward. It is over four years old now with no hint of bending even after using the wooden handle of a large flathead screwdriver occasionally to start it upward when the coupler is not level on the ball giving resistance. I try to remember to pull yoke up prior to backing uphill (slight w/no bumps)to park. Can still put a chock in front and roll to it to help as well.

These don't seem to be a available anymore after Dometic swallowed Atwood.

Hard to be 100% positive with all the changes over the years. All I can say is that the RAM coupler on etrailer's site looks identical to ours. Where has Escape printed what rating their coupler has? I don't see any RAM a-frame coupler in that exact configuration rated less than the 8K. I'll see if our coupler has any markings to clearly identify it.

Pat- I seem to remember Escape going to the current RAM coupler with the long slender yoke latch lever around 2015. Not sure what ours was that we replaced after problems, yet know for sure it wasn't and Atwood.

Edit- pretty sure it was a RAM- and believe the design changed slightly in the lever around 2015.

Hey Ross I saw the Attwood stamped on your picture . We are going to change it out anyway as soon We can to the bulldog . Really like it and it will probably be the last one for us . I need to check with Greg and see what one he put on his trailer too. Thankyou anyway , must be some no name . Pat
