Hi Alf
I am fired up for Canadian camping. We gotta get that border open. I’ll call Joe in the morning and you call Trudeau and we can let them both know how much this Rally means to international relations among both country’s camping population, the commerce, exchange of innovative ideas, and preservation of culinary specialty recipes including poutine, pulled pork,
Blueberry pie, scrapple, Spam, and so on and so forth. I’ll let you know how my call went tomorrow. I got a couple left foot boots and a left handed hammer too.
All for the tarp.

Don't forget that Canada is metric, so bring your metric crescent wrench. You never know when it'll come in handy.

Hi Don.
I think I have two of those so could give one up. There’s got to be several more items that need new homes around here. Two years ago there was about $5,000 worth of
Stuff on the tarp. A like new Fastway EZ2 WDH all the way down to an ice cream maker. Reminded me when my Dad used to tell people, very seriously, that they needed a new muffler belt when they would come in with the exhaust system hanging down. A couple clamps or a hanger and they were on their way. No appointments, two or three bucks for parts and labor. And your windshield cleaned and oil checked.

Hi: Iowa Dave... I've tried to straighten Trudy out before but I think Justin and Ted are on the same "Plane"!!!
What I really need are some left handed nails. At the moment all I've got... have their heads on the right side!!! Alf

We'd love to come Alf but they would have to lift our provincial restriction which has been reimposed, i.e. you leave Manitoba, when you return you must self isolate for two weeks. We already have to do that when Beth returns from KS next month. BTW here's the new arrival, Cieran Owen at 9lb 10oz born Tuesday. He completes our grandchildren, nine altogether.

Hi: emers382... Congrats... Do I detect a family resemblance?
Like 2020 everything at the rally revolves around Co-vid19 rules at the time. Hope they change for the better. Alf

One of Joe’s people said he would be in contact with my staff after he talks to Anthony.
Hey Adrian, that’s a big kid. Keep him away from those potlucks or they will be recruiting him for the Buckeye Football squad. There was a time when I wished I could eat at the training table but realized they probably didn’t serve squirrel with a side of sweetcorn scrambled in with mashed potatoes covered with squirrel gravy. Banana cream pie for desert. So I got married instead and skipped my four years of eligibility. I did eventually win the Chromecraft Trophy presented by Mrs Butterworth.
Oh yeah, heard back from Cecelia, said she booked Teresa’s family and Rita and me in. See you in September.

So Cecelia will take booking from Americans this year, I think she held off last year?

I don't think Cieran will play for the Buckeyes Dave since they'll be moving to CA in a few years. He's named after his paternal grandfather Owen who unfortunately just died two weeks ago.

Hi Adrian
We recruit all over the World, even Canada.
Cecelia booked us last year too. It’s called Jalapeño SPAM diplomacy.
So we’re set once and if the big boys reopen the border. Wiener sticks crossed.

The campgrounds look small.

We are thinking of trying to work this in our trip. Do we need to worry about running out of sites?

The sites are not large but the fiberglass camper folk are pretty friendly. There are basically three grades of sites sewer, water, electric, Water And electric and finally open field “tent sites”. If the border opens the reservations will roll in at a fair rate. I do not believe they have ever totally filled up but we’ve never just came off of a pandemic “coop up”. Like we are experiencing either. There is a lot to do in the area.so during the day a lot of folks leave the CG. Campfire every nite near Alfs rig, nice shower house with washer and dryer. Quiet and restful, not many kids and the owners do an excellent job of managing the area. If it fits your schedule it’s a good time. Many repeat attendees. Alf is a great host. In other years, I booked for the next year when I paid. Hope this helps.

We want to attend this rally but need more info please. This is our first year with our new 5.0. Who is Cecelia, and how do I contact her about reservations? Does someone keep tabs on what people are bringing to the pitch-in, so everyone doesn't bring baked beans? Do items donated to the blue tarp need to be camping related? Any "rules" on what kind of wine to bring - I see you want craft beer, do you want wine from small local wineries? We are so excited to meet other Escapees!
