Best wishes and prayers to everyone there during this traumatic episode. You are right, material items can be replaced. Nobody hurt, not even our furry friends. That is great news.

We are glad to hear that the fire damage and losses weren't fatal and of only minimal impact on ETI's operation. We continue to be fans of Reace and Tammy and their business: great products (we love our Escape 21), great service and unparalleled commitment to their customers.

Hello Ronn and Colleen,
Thanks for your message! Our build date is July 9, we hope to pick it up the first week of August if production goes as expected. It is our first RV also.
My husband is retired, I will work another two years. We plan to do trips around Minnesota to get the hang of towing and living in a trailer.
All the best to you when you pick up your trailer in June-what model?
Char and Eric

Hi Marj and Guy,
Yes, Reace's posts have been so helpful.
We've been tent campers up until now but look forward to many adventures in our 17B as I'm sure you are too.
Enjoy!

Sending our best wishes to you, Reace and Tammy. We're so glad to learn the fire didn't involve any injuries. Here's hoping things get back on track soon. As Donna said, those of you at ETI are like family. - Meg and Tom

Just a report on dealing with ETI since the fire . . .
I had a small, non-urgent issue that I brought up on this Monday (making clear that it was low priority and could wait a week or so, under the circumstances). Instead, by the end of the day I had a response, laying out my alternatives, on Tuesday I let them know my choice and in less that 48 hours everything was taken care. In other words, the usual responsive, prompt and pleasant customer service. Kudos!
I'm sure the fire will be more of a challenge on the production side of things than for customer service. But given that according to the RVIA shipments are down something over 20% industrywide this year, I'd imagine the ETI has enough slack in their schedule to recover from the disruption very promptly.
Again, kudos to ETI.

I can tell you as a very involved business owner myself that the fact Reece and or Tammy take the time to keep people updated and say hey here is whats going on from their new business partner and what that meant to this fire the way they run a business continues to impress me and why I would say without hesitation Escape if you are in the travel trailer market.
Glad to hear everyone is OK and this will be one of the many challenges life and business seem to always bring but no doubt Reece, Tammy and the team will figure this out.
Enjoy the journey.
Steve

Geez. Do we ever feel stupid. Were at Escape Mar 29 to inquire about new batteries. We quickly grabbed Reese as he was walking by with someone and he told us how to unhook the batteries. We went into the showroom and Tammy gave us a price. As we drove away we noticed the aftermath of what looked like a fire. Not thinking too much about it we drove home. Only reading here today, did we realize something of significance happened. I have to check back here more often.

I waited a while before asking about the fire's impact and I got the following from Karl Kenny (the new head honcho - and it arrived before business hours):
"Your completion date is on schedule. I am pleased to say that we have recovered with zero impact to any customers."
