Hi
My name is Quan and my wife and I are new to the trailer area. Our family has food sensitivity issues and we can mostly only eat food we prepare. Thus we recently are looking into buying a camper/trailer for our family vacation.
We have two adults, two young children and we are pretty small people.. We looked into Casita, Scamp, but found the bunk beds are too small when the kids grow bigger. We thought 17B has a gracho bunk that is a bit wider that’s what makes us more interested in 17B. Any one who has a gracho bunk that can comment on this?
We are looking into buying a new one but realize it takes time to deliver and is costly for shipping. So we are wondering if there are any owner of 17B with Gracho bunk that is looking to sell theirs in the near future? Preferably in eastern US or southeastern Canada. We are located in Connecticut.
Thank you and we hope we can become an owner of an escape soon!
Quan
We just decided to sell our 2014 17B that is gaucho bunk ready. We are in central FL. Let me know if you are interested and I can give you more details.

Cmon Quan,
Shoot the works and go right to the the 21.
Wishing you all the best in ordering and camping in your new Escape.
Have a great summer and take lots of pictures of those kids. They grow up before you know it.
But you’ll still have the Escape and the memories.

Thanks Dave! That’s right the memories with the kids are gonna be the most important part. An escape will make it happen! Will ask for some traveling tips once we have the unit! Best regards
We had a 17B for 4 years. It never really worked out well for the 4 of us. We have a new 19 now. We are very happy with it. Quality is top notch.

Great to hear Doug2000. More space is always nice. Originally we wanted a 17B because we were considering buying a minivan to tow a lighter weight trailer. Now we realize that that plan is cutting too close to the towing limit, we are buying a Toyota Highlander, so hopefully that would be enough to tow the 19.
We have great memories of the 4 of us in a 13 Scamp. Many pictures of the Scamp being towed by a 38 ford, 28 ford and a VW rabbit. The kids, now 45 and 50 remember those times and our 50 year old son is thinking about a trailer, just larger than a tear drop. He even has a 32 ford he could use as a tow vehicle. It's all in the memories.
