Either that or knockoffs. Color is right.

Also got a call from ETI with the actual dry weight. Original estimate was 4800 lbs. Actual came in at 4600.

Oh boy, we can load 200 more lbs. of unnecessary stuff. Looks like they updated the dry weight on the web site.

Yup, because if I was to order a 23 it'd be with bunks, no upper center cabinet and a window.

That scheme with a footwell-desktop and a combination of lower / upper / full height cabinets on the wall opposite the twin bunks would be a radically practical floorplan for some folks, IMO (bedroom / 'office').

I, for one, would love an Escape trailer with a real desk and free-rolling office chair of my choosing.

Thumbs up More WooHoo!

Thanks for sharing the pics as your justifiable excitement builds!

It appears that the furnace grille is larger / different proportions than that in my 5.0; do you happen to know if the furnace itself (mine is a Dometic DFSAD12) is a different model?

Whatever, my comments and questions are inconsequential, except to say that you've got a lovely trailer on the way!

(if I didn't enjoy my 5.0 so much I'd be envious )

I will check with Linda on the furnace model. The grill does look larger, doesn’t it?

It's been great seeing the build photos. There are many that would have bet against one ever being produced because it was born in a difficult era.

Hope you have lot's of happy memories with it and give us updates on how it's performing.

Looks like Victron multiplus, cerbo, and solar controllers. Also looks like nice heavy duty cables connecting the battery bank. I think they have come along way with the electric install.
Congrats

Yep, that was the first thing I noticed when we walked through the E23 at the Escape Rally this past May. It was almost like someone who had been working in electrical wiring for years had come in and taken over the show. Thanks, we are looking forward to this last trailer.

The WAGO lever locks snap into orange plastic brackets, so that is what you are seeing. In another thread you can get a much better view of the brackets and note how Escape failed to allow enough wire for the connector to reach the bracket so they just left it hanging.

Thanks. We were a flat no all the way through development because of the space constraints caused by trying to shoehorn a shower into the bathroom. The same day they announced they were throwing in the towel (so to speak) on the shower, our interest perked.

As I mentioned to Ron, the key to the space was deep six-ing the shower. The design went from congested to spacious in one fell swoop.

Years ago, we looked at Airstreams for a walk around queenish bd that you could really walk around. Had this floorplan/size been available back then, we would still be pulling a big tin can today.

Looking forward to that!

I was disappointed to note that the Canadian Maple Leaf and "Made in British Columbia" seems to be missing on the E23 graphics seen on the website.

Yeah, I've read that some folks don't care for the 'place of origin' graphics .... obviously, I don't happen to be in that camp. For me it's a tasteful statement of part of what makes my trailer different from the majority.
