LED trivia
LED bulbs are manufactured in batches (lots). Each batch will contain a variety of individual bulbs that shine with different brightness. The manufacturer typically sorts these bulbs and packages similar brightness bulbs together.
The brightness of the entire circuit board of bulbs can be controlled by a resister. If the LED's are very bright, the resistance can be increased and therefore lower the voltage and lower the light output.
Finally, there is no such thing as a true white LED. White LED's are actually blue LED's with a phosphorus coating. The blue light excites the phosphorus to produce white light. Cheap white LED's will burn through the phosphorus very quickly resulting in the actual light getting dimmer.

Fixtures vary, but if yours have the wedge-style socket which fits common bulbs such as the 921, more options are becoming available. While 12-volt LED replacement units have been a specialty item found only in automotive stores, RV outlets, and online, I recently ran across a unit on the shelf at Home Depot which is working well for me as a 921 replacement in an RV. LED 18W T5 Wedge Capsule Bright White (3000K) Non-Dimmable - 2 Pack
Philips Model # 463471 | Store SKU # 1001015363 The price here is CA$20 for a two-pack; online alternatives may be cheaper, but this seems reasonable to me. This particular unit has roughly the size and shape of the incandescent bulb and emits light in all directions, so it is suitable for fixtures with a reflector (not for something designed to use only a directional LED unit). Note that while the description says "18W", it is actually a 2-watt device intended to replace an 18 watt incandescent bulb.

Not a whole lot of info to go on for searching. Was it this one? Direct link: http://www.escapeforum.org/forums/f9...tml#post106277

I see there is another brand, claims it is a dome light. Seems very similar but is cheaper $9.95 and a Prime item. Yukeiaa (sp?)
Would it work?
How would it compare?
Thanks.

Our NTU 2019 21C range-hood bulb doesn't work. It's an LED. Doesn't have a number on it. Anyone know what to get for a replacement?

Checked a few links, got item prices $4+ to $8+, but with ridiculous shipping costs. Looks like Amazon at $17 with 'free' shipping works out the best.
Actually posted this on an old thread. There are some other options for the 'wedge' automotive bulbs that are much cheaper. . .
