Can't argue with any of that. Batteries are fickle, and that includes Lithiums. There are dozens of way to kill a lead/acid battery and we are just beginning to explore the ways to kill Lithiums. And if anyone thinks Lithiums don't have self-discharge, think about this. Your Lithium battery has a BMS, which is similar to a computer with sensors and it is running ALL the time, even if the battery is in your garage. The one specification I have seen is that a particular brand of BMS uses about 15 milli-amps. That is in the ballpark of lead/acid self-discharge. So keep an eye on the voltage and have your appropriate trickle charger handy and follow the manufacture's instructions.
