Help

Hey everyone
New to here
I have a question about my solar system for my cabin.
I know this is a rv form but same principle

I have a 1000w system with 2 6v batteries ran together.
With my inverter once I turn on my generator it changes the batteries in bulk
Last night the battery’s went down to 11.2, I usually run a fan and cell booster at night. .
I had my generator running for about 6 hours today and when I left were only up to 11.7
I know it wil take a lonnnng time to charge up to 12/13v.
I am thinking about taking them home and putting them on a slow charge. However the charger I have is a noco but only good for 12/24v batteries
My question:
Can I hook my batteries up neg to pos and charge the two of them like a 12v battery?
Didn’t want to try it before I find out some info.
Thanks for any help in advance

Yes, when you connect two six volt batteries together you have a 12v battery.

connect one of the batteries negative post to the others positive then the two that are remaining are negative and positive as marked on the batteries.

Make sure the water level is adequate in all the cells. I use distilled water.
I’m assuming you have lead acid batteries.
