My Maxx fan was on and blowing full blast when I entered the trailer a couple days ago. It didn't want to shut off at first, but after I reversed the direction it did turn off when I hit the switch again. I tried to fiddle with the auto-on button but didn't really know what I was doing. Sunday it was on again, but it turned off when I hit the switch. This morning, same thing, and strangely the furnace was on also even though its switch was fully in the 'off' position (although the temp control wasn't all the way to the left).
Supposedly this Maxx fan has had the circuit board coated by the previous owner. I'm wondering, when it is turned off does the auto-on thingie still want to turn it back on at a certain temp? Or is that only supposed to happen if I push the auto-on switch again? I'm trying to figure out if I have to do something extra with the auto-on switch to stop it from turning back on.
I'll be at Roaring River State Park in MO, M-Th this week, so by the time I read any responses I'll be set up in site 14. TIA.
