The Escape does have lots of storage. We haven't begun to claim all the available space in the 5.0. Maybe when I retire, and we hit the road for 5-6 weeks at a time, maybe.......

The reason Alf mentioned the box height is that 53" is the MAX from the ground to the top of the box. So, most all full sized trucks (if they are 4x4) are too high. If they are 4X2, then possibly no...

We pull with an '09 Nissan Frontier, and love it! It's comfortable, and has LOTS of power. It handles the 5.0 with ease. The ONLY thing I don't like about the Frontier, is it's turning...
