It is pricey. I first looked for other options, but ended up going with the Fold-a-Cover one as it fits perfect, and with the front section of the cover doubling as the lid, it kept using it simple....

Yes it can. You just fold the other sections back to form a ^ shape behind the front one, but ahead of the pin box. Good thing too, because I have had need to do that a few times. :)
