actually, the communications isn't 'digital', its the same on/off switch on a pair of low voltage wires to the heater... only the display and thermostat guts are digital.

and yay, with wife's help pressing in hard on the chrome outside plate, I was able to fully seat the furnace, and hooked up the gas line, leak tested with dawn-n-water, and voila, heater fired up...

I've removed the 2 square head screws holding the heater to the face of the cabinet......

I'm camping, the lows are 30f and my furnace is flakey. :eek:

About half the time it comes on, it never lights, and shuts off a minute later. Other half the times, fan runs 20 secs, then spark...
