Do I need a WDH for 21C and F-150?
I've got a 21C on order and will be towing with a 2020 F-150 4x4 short crew 3.5EB. Are you using a WDH with your similar setup or is it not needed? Ford claims trailer anti-sway is built into the traction control system.

Is it needed. No
Do I use a WDH. Yes
The only way a person could ever know for sure what the "correct" answer is is to try with and without. Personally I like the integrated feel that the WDH gives.

A junk is a type of Chinesesailing ship with fully battened sails. There are two types of junk in China: Northern junk which is developed from Chinese river boats,[1] and southern junk which is developed from Austronesian ship designs, examples of which have been trading with the Eastern Han dynasty since the 2nd century AD.[2][3] They continued to evolve in the later dynasties, and were predominantly used by Chinese traders throughout Southeast Asia.

I prefer the Husky Centerline TS over the Fastway. Better antisway and less expensive.

To be clear the Fastway is not an Escape product (not sure if that's what you meant by putting Escape in front of the name). But to answer your question, no it is definitely not junk. I have used that product for years, on several different configurations with awesome results. Great anti-sway. I have used several others including Eaz Lift and Husky Centerline, and I like Fastway the best. YMMV.
But as with all WDH, that success (or lack of) depends a lot on it being calibrated properly. First get the right weight class product, then follow the manufacturer's instruction manual exactly, it does take some time and effort, but it is worth it. I can't tell you how many times I see WDH's set up improperly, usually you can tell just by looking at the rig...

The biggest factor contributing to dangerous trailer sway is insufficient hitch weight. Having 10%-14% of total trailer weight on the hitch is recommended. When that is done, wild oscillating sway is rare. And the long wheelbase of the pickup will be in your favor.
Keep in mind that not all WD hitches have sway control built in, btw.

Exactly. Included in that "time and effort" I mentioned is a trip to a CAT scale...

I mentioned escape because I thought they provided the Fastway as a included item with trailer ? Does the customer provide hitch ?

I tow a 21c with an f 150 and I wouldn't say a wdh is needed but we got the e2 fastway from Escape and we like it. The f 150 tends to sag a bit and the wdh levels out the whole unit and it rides quite nice and does help with sway.

It's an option that you can buy from ETI.
So, why did you ask if it is "junk"?

We tow our 2020 21C with a 2017 Ford F150 4x4 SuperCrew 5.5 box. The truck handles the 21 fine without the WDH, but I can tell you that there is a marked improvement in both bounce and sway, once you hook up the WDH Hitch. I had an older style WDH with a separate sway bar on our old trailer. On this trailer, we went with the Fastway E2 hitch. Much easier and quicker.

Well i was concerned at pick up time if i needed another hitch to get her back to Iowa. I read Anderson, Curt and other brands being praised on the site.

These are concerns that the Escape Company can hopefully answer. It would be easier if i had the vehicle to pull it. I have till April to get it right.

Fastway - two friction points to control sway at the rear brackets
Husky - four friction points to control sway. Two at the head and two at the rear brackets. Compare to Equal-i-zer WDH - the Husky is a very close clone.

Keeping in mind that the Equalizer WDH that ETI lists is not the Equal-i-zer branded WDH
