RV parks near Seattle Washington

We wanted to catch a Mariners game, but didn't want to drive back to BC the same night. We stayed at Salt Water State Park. It was very convenient, but kinda weird: it lies literally under the flight path to SeaTac Airport, so we saw/heard a lot of planes. Price was right for dry camping, and we were able to tough it out for a night. Flight traffic diminishes greatly at night, so overall not a bad one night camp.

Stayed at Lake Pleasant in Bothel twice, a week each time. We would drive to Ballard each day after 9 am and return in the evening after rush hour. 20 miles in less than 30 minutes. Lake Pleasant is a nice, clean urban campground with a mix of long term residents and travelers. Worked perfectly for us until our son and his family moved to San Francisco.
