There is a pamphlet available at all Canadian border crossings with similar information for Canada.
I'm sure it's also available online.

Get some fresh garlic at Wally Marty or as I say Mega Low Mart. Got to keep those rally vampires at bay. Arriving a week from today. So looking forward to seeing everyone.

Hi: mcdonner... Only the Riverside knows for sure. Last count was over 30 trailers but that will change. What I do know for sure is there won't be any wrapped candies @ potluck. No cans of sodas either!!! Alf

There will be fowl weather boots, and Alf will be the consummate host. So all is good. It’s cool and a little rainy at Algonac. Very enjoyable after living in a toaster oven most of the summer with no rain. The Brook trout have so little water they are taking the big yellow bus to school!

We’re currently camping at an Ohio State Park. Will stop at home to regroup and Canada-ize our gear to insure a smooth border crossing. We want to be compliant Americans. Will head north on Thursday morning. See you soon. Safe travels.

If interested, I have a web page with many photos of this year's rally. I'll add more as the rally progresses.

Thanks, Jon, from those of us who would like to be there, but have conflicting plans.

Glad to see Dave and Jake are comfortable, as always.

Miss you guys.

Re the allowed foods into the US. Monday we crossed into Calais ME where they seemed to be extra vigilant checking inside every RV. Because it was 9/11?? We had uncooked eggs. The agent spent some time inside ours and said nothing about the eggs. Perhaps he noted they were eggs from the US.

Anyway I find with our many crossings , three times back and forth this five week trip, that it depends in the individual customs agent how particular they are. I would suggest for certain anyone returning from the rally not have any fresh fruit or vegetables of any kind.

Have a great rally wish we could have attended but have a nephews wedding in Thunder Bay today.

Wow!!! What a great rally. Perfect weather and fantastic time seeing old friends and meeting new ones. The fires were perfect, pot luck was delicious, lost car keys found, crazy camping stories, blue tarp treasures found(LOL), vintage trailers on display, fun raffle prizes and Alf doing a spectacular job making it all happen. Can’t wait till next year.

Were you the one that left the keys on the back sill of your camper and I had asked if you lost them , it was great meeting you guys and gals that came! Maybe next year we will bring the 5.0. I really liked the Bigfoot 5er that was there!

And I learned Ralph is multilingual, acting as an interpreter to make a campground reservation for a couple from Laos with a campground managed by a fellow from Sweden. Try that if you think it’s easy. We had a great time. There were a lot of treasures and very little that didn’t go home with a new owner. Boots, a screen house, three new sail switches, a thermal temp gun, two cedar birdhouses and finally a book on how to catch walleyes. That was not claimed and so I took it home. I could not put a book in the dumpster. I will trade the book for two fillets off of a 25 inch walleye. Fresh not frozen.
Thanks to Alf and Mary Anne for all their hard work. And since I’m totally worthless when it comes to names, also thanks to Alf’s daughter for being the tender of the fire. She’s highly qualified and did a great job. About the only thing we didn’t do was sing Kum By Yah

Hi: Iowa Dave... Yes... I had my "Mid life crisis" Red VW New Beetle w/ a stir stick in Y2K. This is my "Late life crisis" White Mazda MX5 w/ 6spd slush box. Best thing is the roadster can't really mess with my hair too much. Now all I need to do is convince that pretty girl she can get down into it!!! No DWI's either. I don't think a glass turkey will fit in the trunk!!! Alf
