Do as I did and request that the batteries be moved, maybe 3" to allow full access for checking the fluid level. It can be done...
I just moved mine. I closed the old vent hole with gasket material, got a vent kit for the box on line, drilled a new hole in the box, moved it and used the existing hose. Filling them is so much easier. When I replace them I will get sealed ones like AGM.
