We got about 8" of "heart attack" snow, the really wet and heavy and hard to shovel, the snow blower clogs easy. I did my front, but the back will wait, it will be in 60's within 2 days.

Quick answer: No
But this is how goofy the friends I had when I worked in SW Iowa we’re.
We went ice fishing about every night after work. One of the young guys finally decided to join in. He told me he didn’t have an ice rod. I told him he could use one of mine or the bottom section on his light spinning rod. Once on the ice I drilled a few holes for myself and the young guy. I walked off to fish my holes with my back to the kid. There were about 15 people nearby. Pretty soon I hear “ damn” and then a few other exasperated phrases including “You didn’t tell me this ice fishing was so hard.”
I detected a little laughter.
I finally turned around
My friend was standing about 20 feet from the hole trying to cast his jig into the 7 inch hole.
“Damn, I missed again!”
I just turned around and pretended I didn’t know him. I can still see that silver Swedish Pimple skipping across the ice.

A few pics from Reelfoot. Our rig, and some ice sculpture from the wind and waves.

Try sending the pic, by email, to yourself. Then open it and rotate it on your device, if necessary.

Thanks for the suggestions. It’s all on my phone, so I’ll probably just try to remember to shoot landscape. Of course they always appear upright on my phone. Thanks.

Can't help you there. Pix shot on my iPhone appear correctly on this site, no matter the orientation of the phone. I don't have to fix them. I've looked but can't find the setting on my phone that stops it from "correcting" orientation. Don't know what phone you are using.

How do I stop my pictures from rotating?
First off, find your Settings app and open it. Next, tap Display under the Device heading, then remove the checkmark next to Auto-rotate screen to disable the screen rotation setting. To turn the setting back on, go back and check the box.

I don’t have anything in display about auto rotate. The only rotation lock I know about is in my control center, but didn’t know that would affect photos.

At Big Ridge SP out of Norris, TN. Warmer, drove through a smattering of snow on the road, and took more interstate and fewer backroads to make up the missed day. We are back on schedule to hike around Grandfather, NC, see Old Salem, and still make our reservations in the Outer Banks.

How do you like the manual jack? Is the weight noticeable when lifting or is it pretty easy to crank?
By the way, looks like you have another great spot!

I’ve always preferred the simplicity of the manual jack. I’m only 59. So for now I prefer it. Some like power, some like manual. I’m in favor of manual. If the crank handle is down, my lowered tailgate can hit it.
Spent the morning at the Museum of Appalachia. I thought it okay, not great, but glad we went. As we were leaving a talented group of dulcimers with banjo, mandolin, and guitar set up and played well.
Sitting in the sun now watching Norris lake.
Tomorrow we head toward Grandfather, NC and some hiking.

My buddy has the electric jack.
When in use, it sounds like chalk on a blackboard, but loud.

Around June we will have to complete our build sheet so this is one of many items on our decision list.

Electric jack
I don't have one, but I'm warming up to one's use. I modified my manual for use with a cordless drill. It works, but a push-button jack could make brief moments of life a lot easier.
That said, I asked an old school, RV dealer nearby which brand was the best. Grizzled geezer replied........."they all have their problems". He's likely right, but someday I may pop for one. No rush....I need to get a season of cordless drill beta testing completed first.
To repeat my mantra...."get the gear for your endeavor or get out." I'm old enough to want to keep being able to vamoose with my rig, but getting too old for all the theatrics.
