Feeling like a legit Forum Member - finally!

Well, we've done it! Deposit placed. Build sheet done (okay, aside from continuing to tinker endlessly with it after reading Forums and watching YouTube vids).

It's probably the euphoria of finally pulling the trigger with the deposit but, I do need to say that so far the service, online and in-person, has been not just industry-leading but, league-of-their-own category with Escape. IMO (and I say this as a past Marketing Director of a multi-location RV Dealership) there is no comparison to what Escape offers.

Thank you for letting me join this Forum before being an Official owner. Now I'm legit, I'm feeling pretty darned good! Looking foward to sharing pics/stories from our Canadian/Vancouver Island Adventures starting next August when we pick up our newly christened "Nice Escape".

Congratulations on "pulling the trigger" - we did the same a few weeks ago, so I share your feelings! What model will the "Nice Escape" be?

We've ordered an E19. I suppose we'd better change/update our profile. I see you've ordered a 5th wheel. Congrats to you!

There is a ton of collective knowledge here on this active forum. It’s one of the reasons I chose Escape. There is fantastic after sales support here, and it’s almost 24/7 typically with contact back the same day. It’s a first class forum. Like all forums, there are moments, but we are all people just trying to help our neighbors. Welcome.

Yes, we're actually going from a pop-up (sold last spring) to tent camping (this past summer) to a 5.0 next March, so it will be quite a step-up. We're really looking forward to joining the Escape family - Thanks Gino!

Congratulations and welcome to the forum! Two things I try to remember to mention that does not come up too ofter. The first is when you get your trailer, take the time to remove the spare tire and get some washers/spacers so the tire does not end up with a permanent intention from the mounting bar.

The second is if you ordered the Fastway 2 weight distribution hitch (I love this hitch on our 21C, especially after not having one on our 19), get the second sewer hose storage container to go under the trailer in the back. It is a perfect size to hold the Fastway weight distribution bars! It keeps them off the ground and out of the way.

I agree on the 2nd sewer hose storage container, but we put our Fastway 2 bars right between the propane and the front storage box. They just lay right on the frame. We use our 2nd hose storage container for 2 pieces of "astroturf" type mats that roll up and fit right in there.

Welcome from Saanich BC. We've had our Escape for about 3 years now and after this summers adventures, we’ve put well over 30,000kms on it already. I find this Forum really addictive and you’ll find time zooms by quickly reading about the endless innovations & mods. There’s a crazy amount of experience to be had here and I’ve found people are willing to share their knowledge freely.
