I know we have a member of the ETI team montoring here but don't know if we find him or he finds us.
A question for him. Can I use the hoist in our shop to raise my 21? The lift points are adjustable and I'm thinking I can put the points under the frame just in front of and behind the wheels.
Some things would be much easier to do with it at chest high. I really dislike crawling under that thing. Too close for me. I feel trapped under there.
Thoughts?

Hi RangerMan,
I have seen in a ETI youtube video them having a trailer on a hoist to install gas lines and such.
Video is on the ETI site and I think it is called "How it's made" look around there. The hoist is on their assembly line. Just a though, but I've seen it done in their video and they were walking under it, not just chest high.
When I lifted mine to drop the axles I jacked it up on the frame about where you've described and supported it with jack stands, all four wheels off the ground. I don't see why you couldn't use a hoist.
Good video. Pretty much what I imagined as I installed a lift kit using floor jacks and also explored the nether world between the ceiling insulation and fiberglass roof for the purpose of locating bolt-through-the-roof 2nd solar panel fastening points. My wallet has ruled out hoists and such so I'll still be kneeling at the altar of the brakes and wheel bearings.

Two words for this old man
Kneeling pads. Otherwise I’m good with working at floor level. It’s Cheaper than belonging to a fitness center. Maybe when I’m eighty I’ll change my tune. Till then it’s Hello Dolly.
