I've left messages on Jim's phone and reached out to Noelia via email. Haven't heard anything back yet. I'm working on it.

So sorry to hear of Jim's latest setback and hope that he's doing better by now. Like others, we've never met Jim in person but have benefited from his wise insights into queries and issues. We are definitely praying for a positive outcome and thinking of Jim and his wife. Thank you for all the updates.

So the situation with Jim is pretty grim. There is no way of dancing around his health issues nor the prognosis. He is currently in a rehab hospital. Noelia has not been able to see him since the 26th of November. Additional complications from the last surgery include a nasty infection. A potent cocktail of antibiotics are being administered 3x per day. One estimate is that he may be at this facility until @ January 12th. Jim is also dealing with cancer which hasn't magically gone away. The resumption of chemotherapy is not an option until if/when the problem with the infection is resolved.
Donna is putting together some comfort food. We'll drive over to York on Saturday and do a porch visit with Noelia.

I'm grateful for the news, grim as it may be. I will continue to hold good thoughts for Jim and Noelia. May all those involved in his care be at the tip-top of their skills and compassion.

Gosh, sad news. Please pass off our very best to him and Noelia at this terrible time. Our thoughts are with them.
Having the chance to met him at a couple rallies I got to see first hand what a friendly guy he is.

Thanks for the update, we really appreciate it. It’s hard for us to deal with Jim’s situation but it’s minor in comparison to what he’s facing. Hoping for the best for Jim.

Sending prayers for Jim and strength to Noelia, it must be so hard on her not being able to hold his hand.

Sending positive thoughts to both of them.
Thank you so much for the update, it was on my mind and I kept checking.
So hard for both of them to be separated at this most challenging time ,

We are going over to see Noelia on Saturday. I'll (once again) mention all the kind thoughts, gestures, and concern directed toward them both. I don't think they are in need of anything in particular material wise. It turns out one of her favorite foods is macaroni and cheese. Donna has a killer recipe (not that there is much to it to begin with) which incorporates 3 different cheeses. That and a couple of baguettes we'll drop off.
