I'd rather watch the dumb bear commercial a hundred times than do that. I can never throw out stuff that I~might~ just possibility find a use for some time.

Notice, I never quoted anyone.
Fanboy? You know I no longer own a Escape trailer, but would have if the 25 would have gone into production 6 months earlier. Bob and I are friends and we're eagerly awaiting their opinion of the 25 they pick up in January.
And I certainly wasn't a "fanboy" after my Suburban stove exploded in my face and was totally ignored by Karl and the new ownership. However, I do like the direction Escape is taking since Karl left. Nearly everyone here is a "fanboy", you included.
Yes, people can certainly feel the opposite, and I certainly feel the opposite. It's the negativity that bothers me. It's just an ad folks.
TETO!

Critiques are often looked at as criticism when one disagrees. Just like jokes are often... it's just a joke, when the intent is meanness.
How many have been accused of 'drinking the 'kool aid' here? I can love my trailer and hate the commercial. And they can be mutually inclusive (rather than mutually exclusive). There's many commercials on television I dislike too and thank goodness for a mute button.

Deb shot a hasty video of a mom and two cubs lumbering across our road a few days ago. There was not a fiberglass trailer to be seen.

Someone should have told Escape that no one likes to think about a bear in your camper, either.

Seriously one of the advantages to an RV in general and an Escape especially is that you're less likely to have a bear get inside. While they do say imagine if we were in a tent. It's not a positive message in my opinion. Definitely a swing and a miss, in my opinion.

This has nothing to do with Escape, but all this talk of bears in commercials reminded me of this one. It gave me a chuckle……..

All this talk of bear commercials has me hankering for Hamms beer and hopes of a Hamms beer comeback.

At least we now know Karl is gainfully employed, he might have lost a little weight the bear suit looked somewhat large. Could it be Samuel?

I thought it was a poor concept poorly executed. I'd be curious to know if they used any focus groups of owners/non owners. My bet would be no.

That Oliver ad posted a couple of days ago was a really nice ad for travel trailers. Any travel trailer. It said nothing about why one should choose Oliver or fiberglass.
Therefor, not a great commercial either. Totally forgettable.
(Not that the Escape one was anything I'd suggest anyone watch either.)
